Anthony's daycare closed down. So, we took the opportunity to start him in a preschool program. It's only been a couple of weeks since he started there, but we already feel it's a great place for him. He's in a music and cooking class each week and he just loves it! The Summer Camp program at his school starts in a couple of weeks and he will get to be involved in all kinds of fun projects and experiences. At home, Anthony is the best little helper! He wants to help with EVERYTHING: cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. And he wants to be too independent for our liking; wants do everything for himself. We attended a birthday party for some friend's 1 year old twins. Anthony had a blast! He couldn't wait to get down to the water and drop a line to catch some fish! A jumprope worked great as a fishing line as far as he was concerned. A real fishing trip will have to happen soon! And hopefully, he will be sitting in a boat with his Grandpa and Uncles for it!

Catching up
OK, so it's been awhile... We were very happy to get to spend some time with Abbey while she was in San Francisco for her conference. We had a great time walking Pier 39 & Fisherman's Wharf! As always, the visits go by WAY too quickly and it was sad to say "good bye" to her. =( We are hoping the next visit comes sooner than later! Easter was a blast! We decorated & hid eggs at home. Anthony had fun finding the eggs and would talk to them as he found them: "I got you egg!" We gave Anthony a cute, toy camping set for Easter and he loves it! After our egg & basket at home, we went to Aunt Michelle's house for another fabulous Easter brunch! What a spread; YUMMY!! We had to ditch the crib and get a "big boy bed" since Anthony figured out that he could climb out of it. It was sad to see the baby crib go; he's growing up way too fast! But, it's been nice getting to lay in bed with him to read and cuddle. He loves his "new, tall bed" and keeps the bed stocked with toys and stuffed animals. Sadly, he's torn up a few of his books while in his bed. He tears them apart and uses the pieces to "make cookies" or "make cake". (I wonder where he gets that from?) But, we've seem to put an end to that and now he says, "no making cookies in bed!" He likes to bury himself and sleep under a bunch of pillows instead of under the blankets. We keep going in his room to uncover his face from the pillows and tuck him under the blankets, but he just keeps burrowing back under the pillows! And I'm very proud of the fact that we participated in the March of Dimes, March for Babies this year. It was a lot of fun and a great day for the entire family!
